New: Asus 21.5" LED LCD Monitor
« on: Thursday, March 11, 2010, 23:07:56 PM »
I got bored and was looking at ways to spend money I don't have and came across a new product by Asus. New like yesterday new:

It's a really nice product with an even nicer price. I like everything about it aside from the stand which seems a bit weird. Definitely added to my upgrades list.

Heh me too. While mine don't have dead or stuck pixels, I still don't really like them. I did at first but the power buttons are funky and one has different brightness so I have to modify it in the Nvidia control panel. If I got 2 of those Asus monitors, it would mean less than half the power usage and I would be getting more screen space.

Vnice I like how the buttons are on the front. I have a 26" Vizio and a 20" Hp and I have to have the HP just a little behind the vizio so I can get to the power button. Its a PITA. Plus my vizio has dead pixels :*(  I'm not sure how well that stand will work, I don't know about any one else but I don't like to look down at my monitors I like to have them flat or tilted just a little toward me.

Yea I don't like that tilt either. I sit with my eyes level with about the top 1/4 of the monitor so I have just a slight tilt. I might have to break down and buy one of those VESA stands if I got those ASUS ones, that or do something that would deem a new thread in the ghetto macguyver thread :D
