Title: Microsoft Dreamsparks premium
Post by: Pipez0r on Friday, December 18, 2015, 13:43:24 PM
I am surprised what I can get free from there. Im studying informatics and my school students have free access to dreamsparks premium. Most it-students around the world can have that access.

Ive now downloaded stuff worth of maybe $30 000. Most of licences are so, that I have 2 years time to download them but I can use even afterwards, only so that I dont profit from them anyhow.

I got free Windows 10 education version, which is nearly same than enterprise edition, Win81pro, win7pro..  for all those the licence is for two computers. Also I downloaded Windows Server 2012 datacenter edition and now downloading ms sql server enterprise edition. Im happy that I can study them for free and also have free OS :) later I can earn much with what I know.

Tbh it seems an interesting thing for students, is it based off some kind of sponsor program or such?

Yeah, Microsofts own thing I think. Dreamspark or msdn thingy. Its a very good thing, but of course microsoft aims to it that those students through that "advertise" ms products in future.
