Interesting. On average, how much would one of those cost?

There's some in there, towards the bottom. One was the most expensive one and it was a couple thousand.

Mechanical keyboards are simply the best to type on. I love them, I just don't have the money to buy one and when I did have the money I didn't know how amazing they are :(

The bulk of the G15's cost would be the LCD, backlighting, electronics and looks. It really depends on what you're looking for. I'll admit it would be nice to have a backlit keyboard but the rest of it would be useless to me, especially the lack of comfort. It's all personal taste and needs.

Id take a simple layout mechanical over the hog of a G5. Extras were never something that interested me. I will buy something for the sole reason of it's purpose and nothing more, If I didn't I wouldn't be buying it :)
