fps with 4x core

Hey

I have problem with my pc.Im running on 2,6 ghz on 4x amd phenom 9950 BE and i get like fps 40 somtimes and usually it runs on 60-70 but when i get closecombat on UA etc it drops sometimes on 30.I tried to clock it to 3ghz and still i have pretty low fps for that.And also I cant run the clock on 3ghz cus it crashes blabla but i wana know how is it possible that i run still so low fps while on BF3 i can run high settings with stable 70 fps
My pc specs:
AMD Phenom(tm) 9950 Quad-Core Processor (4x core), ~2.6GHz
4gb 1066 mhz
GTX560TI/N560GTX-TI TW. FROZR II/OC MSI
Creative x-fi extreme music
640GB 7200rmp 16Mb SataII 3Gb
Chiftec600W

It's simple, AA only uses 1 core. The engine was built before multiple CPU cores became popular. Later builds support 64-bit and DX9 but that was in build 3369 while AA is coded on build 3338 I think. Too bad the devs didn't upgrade the Unreal builds =\

Tweak your ini.

I play on Max tweaked ini created by [Majestic]tidididiÅ  and I have smooth gameplay all the time, and FPS not lower than 60. Only in matches my details goes higher.

nvidia 9600 GT
4gb ram
e5200 2,5 OC to 3,8

If i would look at beautifull screens, I should go to Hawaii or watch movie in HD :)

sharing that ini would be realy nice of u...i also lag durin gunfights and i have similar specs like marten....

Minu 2,53 GHz sülearvutil jookseb küll mäng täiesti mängitavalt.

Samas vanasti räägiti, et läbi suitsu näeb niikuinii kehvema kvaliteediga paremini, nii et siis lihtsalt kvaliteet alla ja olemas ;)

Seda ma tean aga see ei loe kui kvali alla lükkan ma nkn mängin koguaeg low peal kuna detaile on paremini näha siis, aga asi on sellest et see mäng ei tunnista enam quad core

Huvitav, ma mängin täis kvaliteediga ja pole probleeme... no ok FPS väga k?rge pole, aga alla 40 langeb väga harva.

Ja quad-core'i pole see mäng vist kunagi toetanud minu teada.
