I wanted to know what u guys think about it... Some people think this is a fashion and it will only go away with time. ahot i do find some funtions of it quite usable for enterprise services, like push mail and docs to go wich allows me to visualize .pdf, and microsoft office related.

Just ignore him. Blackberrys look kind of cool, but I really have no use or any of its special features. I'm fine with the crappy phone I have. :P

I've said it before and I'll say it again...
laptop > phone

My $15 refurbished ZTE F160 phone does everything I could ever want. It even has 3G capabilities but I won't ever use it (not even available at home, I have to go to the city to use it). My used "old" laptop will rape any phone in terms of performance and features. Netbooks, tablets, smart phones, etc, are pointless wastes to me. At least you can upgrade a laptop, netbooks are harder to upgrade and I bet tablets are impossible to upgrade aside from a SD card.

Phones are way more mobile than laptops. You can use them on the go without having to sit down somewhere. A blackberry phone is great and almost a must have for a businessman who is constantly on the move and has to check his e-mail often. Of course laptops will always be much better, but they are not nearly as mobile and compact.

People are just too lazy and busy these days. Too many small disposable electronics being created and thrown into landfills these days.

I can agree with you there. But this is a busy world we live in. People need to do stuff fast and on the go.

Life these days creates a lot of unnecessary things that get in the way.

But on-topic: for me a phone needs to do a few things. I need to be able to call people, text people with a physical keyboard, and at least send MMS. Blackberry can do it, so I feel blackberries are nice phones. Thought if I had a choice, I'd go with the HTC Evo4G (since it's like a computer in your pocket) or a windows phone (because I followed it for a bit and looks easy to use).

Skrewy, thats a beast phone there. It reminds me of the old nokias that could drop from a roof and not need a charge for over a week.

That's more than I paid for my phone AND my laptop combined. Way more, I didn't even spend a third of that.
