The thing is, an iPad isn't a Netbook/Laptop. Call it a SmartPad if you would like, but comparing it to a Laptop just sounds very unreasonable altogether.

With that said, I do think iPad is overpriced and has almost no practicability, unless you intend to sport your portfolio in it.

People compare it to netbooks because Apple claims it is much better than netbooks. I also compare it to netbooks because it is similar in size and main function. A netbook does everything an iPad can do. I am comparing them because they have similar functions, just that netbooks have many more functions than the iPad.

Yes, but It is not a comparable size to the iPad or a netbook, hence why I left it out of the discussion.

Fuck people that need a pocket sized device that does everything. I'd happily carry around 20 pounds of laptop bag versus an iPhone, not just because it's an Apple product but because the laptop rapes it up the ass.
