Seems interesting, sure i wouldn't get my fingers close to that cooler when it's rotating at 1500 rpm.

exactly what i was thinking. and ive hit my fingers on the plastic fans a few times already haha kinda hurts

What... fanless yet it has a motor and metal blades that spin? They must not have thought that through. Looks interesting though. I bet it will be expensive and not worth the premium over a $30 traditional cooling system.

So when will they start adding nanometer sized fans integrated on cpu's so we can get rid of heatsinks completely?

Physics cannot be changed. What we need instead are chips made from synthetic diamonds which require less voltage and thus generate less heat.
It's like shaving your pubes to make your junk look bigger.

diamonds are easy to get and are not at all expensive, I'm betting that's why this technology is so popular among regular people :)
