Why am I suddenly pinging good in them and, even when I'm not pinging good, it doesn't 'feel' as laggy as it used to? I mean, I'm ecstatic as hell about it, but srsly -- wth? Are you guys using VPN technology similar to what they claim to do with the "HOLA" program?
-
It's hacks, all hacks.
Or maybe magic?
In any case, be glad you can play well on EU servers! :)
I know I still lag quite considerably on US servers, but that's only because I'm from the eastern part Europe.
I think the other day we played you had like a ping of ~30? or was it even less? I remember you being hyper about it though :)
-
Yeah, it's bizarre to me. I remember back in 2005, I was in an EU clan, Team Godlike ^Tg. It used to always lag so badly that it was impossible to do anything. But now, nearly all the EU servers feel like a West Coast US Server, bullet registry and all.

they raised the tickrate in every server from 25 to 35 and connection speeds have improved
-
Ah, that makes sense. Nice!
-
but the NSA is using some filters, makes it a bit slower again :)

lmao! Ya know I don't mean to veer off topic, but I did read quite a few stories that the NSA was hanging around in gaming corners on the Internet, sniffing out potential terrorist congregation. I wonder if they do it for any of the FPS games.

i mean it not as a joke
sometimes you can look at the routings - strange ip's are related to it's route sometimes.
try it - watch some connections and where the are going - take tracert -d
enjoy .)

WE ARE ALL BEING WATCHED. ILLUMINATI RUN THE WORLD

I've been getting pings that are half of what they used to be on some EU servers recently as well. Don't really notice the difference, but I guess it's a good sign :)

Actually, there's this guy with a fedora and binoculars that hides under the bridge in bridge crossing; sometimes when you drop off the bridge, you can see him scuttle away.
I am also quite sure the NSA has a department that is pulling on the undersea cables to pull Europe a bit closer to better monitor it; hence the improved ping, of course!
ROFLMAO!
Good to hear the pings are up!
