It could also be a virus

I have also read somewhere that PB cvar checks can cause this too so I will update the cvars laters. Hopefully it will solve it.

Well i've been looking through our cvar and its checking files on the D, E and F drives. Thats why my cd-rom drive spins and clicks when i play AA. i'm surprised this has not come up sooner.
Its been taken out now.

We've seen this error before, every so often someone will post but it's been a long time. Never had the issue myself but I have a D & E drive so, that's probably why :)
-
My system does not have a cdrom installed so maybe having this check is useless As well the game or anything related really doesn't need this check

i had this error today and a player by the name of tom suggested i tick the fullscreen option in game, and it has quit since... ill edit if it reoccurs

Ya....a buddy of mine playing here today is having a "Put disk in drive E:" message while playing 2.5.....pretty annoying. Just downloaded today.
Why is this happening?
