u mean server rules ?

// PB TASK Commands - TIME2 is the frequency in seconds that the message repeats
// FORMAT: pb_sv_task [TIME1] [TIME2] "say MESSAGE
// E.G, pb_sv_task 1 180 "say Welcome to MY CLAN SERVER

; If you wish to use colour codes in your tasks, we have included the usable colour codes for AA for copy and paste:

; ÿ = Red
; ÿ€@ or ÿ€ = Orange
; € = Dark Green
; ÿ = Dark Blue
; ÿÿ = Yellow
; ÿ = Bright Green
; = Black
; ÿÿÿ = White
; ÿ@ = Aqua-Blue Green

There should be a dedicated file that's loaded via Assist and that can be edited by Assist so people can easily add server messages (even though they are fucking annoying) because it seems like a lot of people like them.

Download the file I attached to the post!
Unzip the folder and copy both files, pbsvuser.cfg and serverrules.cfg, and paste them into the pb folder of your server.
Open serverrules.cfg and add our own scrolling messages/server rules.
To help you, you can see an example of our server rules but I assume you alread know how to do it.
Anyways, start/restart your server. Done!

It does not work, i worked this thing with skrewy via Teamviewer, i edited by writing my own rules that are said under the example. It does not show in the server.
Any solutions?

Did you put it in "/25Assist/server/" ?

Because that's where the server is located if it is not dedicated.

When you're not doing it as told don't blame if it's not gonna work. I said put it in the pb folder, not server folder.
When you put those 2 files there it will never work.

Well, I assumed maybe it didn't worked for you because I did it this way on a dedicated server. So I thought there might be a difference between a dedicated server and a server running from assist. Anyways, I tested it trying to run a server via assist by doing it the exact same way as I told you and as well adding the exact same files and it worked.

Locate your armyops folder and open it, than open the sytem folder, inside there is the pb folder, open it and add the 2 files.

To make it clear, you have to edit the rules first otherwise you won't see them running in the server.
So where it say "Add your own rule set here below" just add something like hello to test it.
Code: [Select]
// Add your own rule set here below.

pb_sv_task 10 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 20 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 30 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 40 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 50 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 60 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 70 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 80 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 90 100 say Hello
pb_sv_task 100 100 say Hello

EDIT: If you still don't get it right add me on MSN [email protected]

It's right here. Download attachment: http://aao25.com/2-5-assist/server-messeseg-question/msg16328/#msg16328

Just drop it in the pb folder, it should work.

I notice in the file   There were some lines and i was wondering where do i get some of the files and edit some of them

Code: [Select]
;pb_sv_banload pb/Elegance In Violence Banlist.dat
;pb_sv_banload pb/EIV-MBL.dat
;pb_sv_banload pb/EIV-IPmask Banlist.dat

;pb_sv_load reconnect.cfg
;pb_sv_load onrelease.cfg
;pb_sv_load suicide.cfg
;pb_sv_load crouch-onrelease.cfg
;pb_sv_load fire.cfg
;pb_sv_load netspeed.cfg

The reconnect.cfg, onrelease.cfg, suicide.cfg, crouch-onrelease.cfg, fire.cfg, netspeed.cfg what are they for and if i wanted them how or what do i put in each of the files.

What are these files and what do they do Elegance In Violence Banlist.dat, EIV-MBL.dat, EIV-IPmask Banlist.dat
