Look at you and your fancy case with a window in the side. Looks like an Antec 900. I only have the 300 Illusion :(

I'd actually prefer if my case didn't have lights, I bought the illusion over the regular antec 300 because it came with 2 more fans. The lights do have a plus though, they impress people who know nothing about computers. :P

Thats why we can't have neon lights on our cars here in Illinois.

That's why I always get the Illusion for customers. The price difference between it and the regular one is less than buying 2 120mm fans afterwards.

how can you tell?

Between the cpu and the videocard slot sits the Gigabyte brand i think, and anyway Gigabyte mobos are colored in blue usually.

I can't even read that. :P  And my Gigabyte 990FX AM3+ board is black.

I wrote "usually" for that reason, because there are exceptions indeed. Better than Asus anyway.

You'll need a trasparent case with leds like Jared's one to notice that kind of sexyness behind videocards and such, its worth anyway. I just look for value parts, most of the time, my home desktop pc mounts an AM3 Matx asus which is pretty decent while being cheap to buy, on the other hand it's not even terribly worth to go for FX capable mainboards by now.

Older Gigabyte boards are blue and have the model number written in bold white silkscreen above the PCI-E slot.
