Title: Random lagspikes
Post by: Nip! on Sunday, April 05, 2015, 16:52:58 PM
Hey there.

Since 5-6 days I am getting random lagspikes / screen freezes every 3-4 minutes ( lasts 10 seconds ).

It's not due to my computer, its a i7 with 4,0 GHZ etc, new generation.

Anyone know what it could be? Maybe something in AA? ( Everything is on high ). But as I said, I never had it before, my computer can run any game lagless, its just AA.

It might be GPU related. Screen freezes usually are.

Nice, and any fix for that?

could be gpu related. put all settings to lowest possible and watch what happend.
watch also your cpu and memory with an additional program.
when cpu gets to hot, you have that strange impact. also with ram.
maybe another program is running in the background. watch for that.

Update GPU drivers or go back to an older GPU driver. You can also check the temperature to see if it's not getting to hot. A high temperature can cause instability. But then you should also notice it in other games.
