Title: Problem with setting up a server
Post by: SASF-DarkShooter on Monday, January 23, 2012, 14:42:45 PM
Hey, I just set up our deticated server through our hoster.
Everything went fine and all. But the weird thing is, it does show up in Assist, but without a map listed.
Here a screenshot:

Looks like mapname is the least of your problems. It's not responding to a query at all, it just shows up in the server list. It's a server problem as it shows up that way for me as well. Perhaps there's another server trying to run on the same ports?

try changing the servername to something without any symbols or colours in it, then try adding in a colour later if it works.

That seems to have done the trick, great thanks!
And another question, scrolling rules can just be added the way it worked on 'normal' AA servers?

in the System/server folder.
3 files, aa-pbsv.cfg, bd-pbsv.cfg, ma-pbsv.cfg
add to all 3 files.

Ah okay, it worked with the 'old' way aswell, just adding the server rules file.
Anyway, it all works now!
Anyone who likes to whore a round of bridge is welcome!
