Hi guys!
The last time i played Americas Army was like 5 or 6 years ago. It was the latest version of AA2.
When AA3 came out i was really depressed. sometimes i have dreamed about AA haha. This morning i was looking for AA.. maybe picking it up again! And then i saw you guys at aao25! I am installing now AA2.5 the full patch. Now i only need to know, is there something more i have to install? Or is it just like always?
Hope this 2.5 will work! Urban Assault and Bridge crossing, here i come!

you nned to create a tracker account att battletracker.com and use that information to log into assist with. Other than that, it's nothing. Just click next next next next. and play.

Ok, so just download americas army 2.5 then create an account. next step is making an account on battletracker and than just play ?

No, the account you make on battletracker gets linked to assist, so you use the battletracker account to log into assist, like in bf3 where you log in with your origins account to play the game, same thing here. my battletracker login is [Ares^, so in assist i log in with [Ares^ and the password i use on battletracker.

Well, since the US army dropped official support for the game, pretty much the only way to play is to use 25Assist.
You need to download 25Assist at sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/aa25assist/files/Binaries/25Assist.zip/download).
You need to use an account at battletracker.com in order to log in to Assist. Go to the site and see if you already had one. If not, just create a new one.
Then Assist will download the correct version of AA 2.5 (there's a few modifications to the stock 2.5).
After that you can start to play the game :)

ok, just did that! so i can cancel the download that go's via another website?
Just logged in with my battletracker account. an email is send to the admin and i have to look again in a few hours

Yes. Assist downloads AA itself after you log in. Any other installation would need to be altered before you can play.
