I just downloaded 2.5 for my mac and there were no servers. Do i have to do something first?Help a newb out

is it really that demanding? This game came out 8 years ago didnt it?

Yes it did. The problem is that Apple changed the architecture of their processors (PowerPC to Intel) in-between AA being released and Assist being made. The issue is that the PowerPC binary won't run (or run properly) on Mac's that have an Intel processor. The best way to play if you have an Intel/AMD processor is to install Windows. You'll get the most performance that way.

Parallels is virtualization, I would wager that running Windows natively would give you more performance. To each their own though.

If you're going to install an operative system just for America's Army then i'd rather choose a linux distro, it will be lighter and still perfectly legit without spending one dollar (or euro/pound/etc). Also because someone here is against pirated OS/ for legit reasons still.

i am not sure, but maybe this will help you out.
no servers could also mean, that your firewall do not allow to communicate with them.
