Wasn't there a hotfix for this? Might see what there is on google but I don't know how it would play with Assist. Sorry I can't help you much on this. DRAAT.net might be the place to get more info.

Nah, that's all that I know of. I know at one time Jonny disabled the in-game server list but I think he brought that back because of complaining by users.

i have found this... seem they have solution for it.. unfortunately it doesn't work on leopard or snow leopard.
Hope there is new code that will help me. :D

----------------------------------

The cause of the problem:
The Mac version of AA2.5 uses a server browsing system called SimpleMBS which has been down for a long time now, the army is no longer supporting it. The Windows and Linux versions use GameSpy which is why they don't have this problem.

The Solution:
I have, after many hours of hard work coded a server to replace the Army's simple MBS server.

To use this new server you will need to make a few changes to your Mac so that AA will look to my server for the list.

First open Applications, Then Utilitys, Then Terminal;
Once in the terminal Type;
Code:
sudo nano /etc/hosts

A text editor will open, move to the bottom of the document and add the following line of text;
Code:
77.108.133.251      simplembs.armygame.com

Now press [CTRL]+O then [ENTER] then [CTRL]+X
Now type into the console;
Code:
sudo niload -v -m hosts . < /etc/hosts
lookupd -flushcache

Thats It!
Now load up AA and click deployment, internet and you should have an upto date server list.

Yea, I thought that's what one of the Hotfixes did. You sure you tried it right?

I'm shocked.

Anyway, I'm sure there's a fix somewhere but I don't know it. At least you can go to Assist, look at the IP and put it in a document and move that to the corner of your screen and then join via IP. Sorry I really can't help any more.

Hey, Not been around here for a long time, Sorry i've take so long to reply.
There is no fix for the In-Game menu anymore, That used to run on my server but I no longer wish to PAY for a server any more so the In-game manu is gone... There is no fix, A suitable data source for the in-game menu simply no longer exists, no amount of tinkering will fix this.
The good news is you do not have to quit AA to join another server through Assist, Just minimize the game and the click join on another server and Assist will switch you over.

I was going to suggest that but not having a Mac, I didn't know if it would work or not. Good to see you're still around Jonny :) How have you been?

When i want to minimize it... AA games close automatically. Has to closed it then enter other server from assist...
