No banlist.txt in system folder

Hi i got myself a vps for aa2.5, then i tried to join as admin via console and got banned for 24 hours, and I dont see banlist.txt in system folder, what should i do?

If you have a server for 2.5, you should just use assist to enter it. Just enter the "Private server/Server admin password" in the appropriate field and you should be fine. Otherwise you will get banned for an unauthorized login.

As for removing the ban before the 24 hours is up, I'm pretty sure it can be done (and I'm pretty sure somebody on these forums already explained how), but I don't know how.


EDIT: Found it:
How to remove yourself from the banlist and how to login properly, too:
You have to delete banlist.txt and restart the server. Join the server through the serverlist and don't forget to put the password in the box. This should only be happening if you join without using Assist.

thanks for quick response but as i told i dont see the banlist.txt in my system forder

edit: ok now im in the server, had to delete the admin pass from the assist deplay window.


edit: where do i need to set the admin password for server?

in here? [Engine.AccessControl]
AdminPassword=***********

and do i have to set the admin username? to able to join as admin

just create a banlist.txt in your system folder if it will not be initialized by a realy ban you are doing. just test it with banning yourself for 1 minute over the game and F12.
