Is there still no way of changing the size of the text, sucks not playing at native resolution as i cant read the chat. I have to play at minecraft like pixels to read it =p.

I've been tinkering a little and have some information:
Good news is that I can set any font I like for console.
Bad news is that the width is hardcoded to 380 pixels, so bigger font, less characters you can type per message
Org font, 60 Characters
Arial14Bold 43 Characters
Anyway.. here are the pictures, tell me what you think:

Click on the pictures to see them larger. I like the smaller font just so it's less intensive and more characters. Question though, if someone with small font writes a long message, does it wrap or get cut off on someone that has large fonts enabled?

It should wrap. Messages that are sent by server can be longer, and they are wrapped.. the check is done on the client typing the message

Here's another question for you. Is it possible to disable/turn-off the console? If so, are the messages still logged in the ArmyOps.ini?
What I'm getting at, maybe you could build your own console and set a custom width and height and font size for users to choose from.

sure, that would be possible, I think only 2 integers would have to changed..
But when making the value something larger than 380... it would increase not only those with bigger font, nut also those with smaller.

ViewportOwner.Actor.Player.Console.MsgText[]

Not to mention, the console is really big on those with small resolutions. It's not ideal IMO. I'd rather see a new console rebuilt, I'm sure ELiZ could do it.

The new beta of Antipoke will have the larger Console font if the Height resolution is higher than 800

Yes. What don't you understand about larger fonts enabled for those with resolutions larger than 800 pixels tall?
Nowhere did ELiZ say that it was user-configurable.

What resolution are you running?

I've enabled an option in Antipoke.ini
If this variable is set to:
bDisableCustomConsoleFont=True
The old standard, hardly readable at higher resolutions font, will be used.
The bigger ConsoleFont will be in the next Beta

cause more important things should be considered before that, meaning keeping servers clean, know what i mean

I wish it was about money, it'd probably be easier to hold back hacking.
The thing is, they know more than we do but Jonny is pretty damn creative so that kinda makes up for it. If we had the source to PB, it might be possible to do more than we are now. I mean, the current system is really nice but there will always be a way to cheat, we're just good at gathering proof. We could always use more anti-cheat people to monitor and research players but there's an issue of trust. There's a lot of things we know that if they got out, it would be catastrophic.

I've seen several people, make comments about the font being a lot smaller with the new default resolution and stuff. For me it would be ideal if it all could be configured clientside, as I prefer a lower resolution with the current font and fontsize.

Eliz 1920x1080. on 24" and the console is perfectly readable. Maybe I am too close to the screen, burning my eyes away, but who cares. I can see the console :D

When you release the update you should maybe leave the current size as default and write somewhere they can change it in assist settings. Not the other way around, making big font as default. So people who dont notice it in the settings go berserk :D

I play 1600x900 and my console font is small as hell. even on a 24" screen I'm squinting like hell to read stuff :/

The Current Console is limiting how many characters you can type on 380 pixels.
This is not something that I can change at runtime, rather the only way is to HEX edit a systemfile.
The Edit will be risk free, but the change would be global for all, regardless of your resolution

Isn't there a way to move the SAI so it fits to the left of the weaponsymbol like it was in the 2.8.5? It takes up more screen when above the weaponsymbol

Pretty sure it would take more work than it's worth to re-do that. ELiZ would basically have to write a whole new HUD with weapon, ammo amount, nade amount, health meter and all of that. Pretty sure of that anyway.
