I'm getting a server, a 20 slot something blabla, depending on whats availible. What I wanna see, is if there's people who'd be willing to play, not pay. I'd be paying, but willing to play on a forceclass M16, 1 nade/2 flashes server. I'll be giving out the admin password to anyone wanting to swap maps, the only rule will be, don't mess with the forceclass, the m16 stays. And despite me paying, you can badmouth me as much as you want, curse, call everyones mom a prostitute and votekick whoever you want, all part of the game. Good idea, bad idea? hit me.

It won't be tracked, though, since it's a forceclass server. (I guess half the points are tracked, but none of the kills and deaths if I remember correctly).
What about kicking/banning as an admin? Allowed or not? :)

I for one don't care about tracking, and I wont be bying it untill I feel i get enough poistive response on it, my ass may be dumb but I aint no dumbass. There will be no kicking or banning unless there's intentional tk'ing going on, no bans will be made. If people wanna be an ass and ruin the game when i put down money for everyone to break the norm of fucked up serverrules, so be it. That's on them. But I doubt that will happen. And also, there will be no swapping maps just because I, who pays wants to play a diffrent map, back in the days the admin actually asked players what map they wanted, everyone can't be happy, but swapping the map without asking the players (without the players the admins can have all the fun they want, alone) is plain retardness.

I've seen quite some servers asking what map to change to these recent weeks.
I would personally love to see how far this idea could get :)
So if you decide to go ahead, I'd be happy to tag along when I can :)

Good idea Ares. I would love to play on it if I have time for AA.
But I'm rather worried that it won't meet much attention. You know the reality, they would rather play damn 54354934594835th round on hospital with their precious scope than some oldschool.

Yeah I came to that conclusion aswell, which is pretty fucking sad "we want whats good for AA" - goes plays hospital

This is along the lines of what Fragweiser had thought up. A hardcore setting that forces M16, minimal nades and other stuff to make the game feel more realistic or at least bring out better tactics. I think if we can agree on a layout and settings, we can allow it to be tracked.

The only thing I will not budge on is that everyone will have admin access to be able to change the map when having agreed with everyone on the server, and that M16/M4/2a1 should be forceclassed. All other things mean little for the idea to work, so whatever you need, you'll get from me. The point of all this is to bring back some fucking joy to this game, and tbh retard serveradmins and SF maps have done nothing but fuck things up the last few years.

Get working on it and less talking :DD I'm pretty sure everyone would agree with this since it doesn't change any original gameplay or any kind of maps...

Just give ares admin power on the Official Servers, instead of paying for more servers.
I'd say I am more than willing to do this too, but I've lost way too many hours waiting alone hoping people would join the map :( I even made a noobaccount so people'd think they will have a freekill, but then they leave as soon as they realize im the best of AA .... :D

i had a server with open admin rights to change maps and others.
but it was not used at all. guess players do like a "service" like "can you....", "change map..." but not done by themself.

ill play on such a server , but i think ganja is right maybe using one of the official servers would mean u dont have to pay and it also means he list dont get any bigger with servers that noone plays on (just in case it dont become popular )
