Title: Looking for Guidance for Returning Player in America's Army: Proving Grounds

Hello everyone,

I recently rediscovered America's Army: Proving Grounds after taking a long hiatus, and I’m thrilled to see such an active community still supporting the game. It's amazing to know that a title with such a dedicated fanbase is thriving!

I’ve been diving back into the game over the past week, but I’m feeling a bit rusty and overwhelmed by all the changes. I’m hoping the community here can help me get back on track with a few questions and tips:

• Gameplay Updates: Are there any significant updates or new features that have been introduced in the past couple of years that I should be aware of?
• Active Maps: What are the most popular maps currently being played? Are there any specific strategies or tips for newer maps I might have missed?
• Community Events: Does the community host any events, tournaments, or regular gatherings that I could join?
• Servers and Settings: Are there specific servers known for friendly players or active matches? Also, are there optimal graphic or control settings for smoother gameplay?
• Best Practices: Lastly, are there any general tips or resources for returning players to get back in the groove faster?

I’m genuinely excited to reconnect with the game and the community, so any advice you can share will be greatly appreciated. If there’s anything I can do to contribute back to the community, please let me know—I’d love to help however I can.

Hey,

This community is focused on America's Army 2 in particular. Some players may be able to answer your questions regarding Proving Grounds (I am not one of them, unfortunately), but you may have better luck on the Steam community discussions page.

With that said, if you have ever played Americas Army 2 in the past, or would like to experience the title that would spawn 3 and eventually Proving Grounds in the series, feel free to hop in-game with the community some evening!
