got dual/quad core? if so, try selecting Core 0 for aao2.5, and remove Core 1. So its single core operated, works best for aao2.5

Download it and run it before game start.

Affinity (amount of cores) does nothing for AA. The only thing like that which might help is setting the AA process to "Above Normal" which would be a good thing to have in an update for Assist. The option is already there for the server I think.

its getting impossible to play aa2 for me like this(now i was at hospital and it was lagging constantly) I don't know why this happens, my windows is 64 bits and I have a good pc.It happens only with aa2, i've already tried to set priority above normal/realtime and it doesn't help. I'm only "ok" when i play pipeline inside main control room...

Try backing up your user.ini and armyops.ini on another folder, let the game create default ones for you and report back if you keep lagging with default ones.

try this:
edit armyops.ini (over assist panel) and change th CachSizeMegs form 64 to 256:

[Engine.GameEngine]
CacheSizeMegs=256

and happy xmas to all !

yes, you should. but you must have those files, otherwise it will not playable. as default with windows, aa25assist will be installed into a hidden folder. maybe you have to change some folder settings over windows explorer (see hidden files).
and to download:
