Title: How to use exec?
Post by: [L3]De[v] on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, 17:03:49 PM
Hey guys First off i did read the read me could not find the America's Army files. I also looked at the '25Assist' folder i have only have 3 .dll files in '25Assist Libs'

I am trying to make some exec scrips for my server to do scrolling rules and admin messages on key binds with colors. Anyone know were i would put my file admin_msg.txt ?

Back in the old days it was just in the America's Army folder.

--- BTW Hello to all that remember me.

You didn't read the readme close enough :) In there it describes AA file locations:
Quote
QUESTION: Where the hell does assist store the game system files and all its data?

ANSWER MAC-OSX: /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/25Assist/
ANSWER LINUX: /home/USERNAME/25Assist/
ANSWER WINDOWS XP: C:\Documents and settings\USERNAME\Application Data\25Assist\
ANSWER WINDOWS VISTA/7: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\25Assist\

From there you just put it in armyops/System

Well because by default assist is supposed to store all it's data in AppData and you're saying it's not there do a search for the folder 25Assist. Start by searching in your user folder, if you cant find it, search the whole hd lol.
