If you want to remove buddies you added with Assist, by right clicking on them and choosing "add" , like you just explained, you have to go where I told you twice already.

Not sure if you're stubborn or dumb

Do like Ganja said, choose Stats tab from left menubar in Assist, then click on Buddies. There choose the buddy you wish to be deleted from your list and simply click "delete".
