Hello! I have an dedicated server , i hosted an AA 2.5 server via assist where everything said it was OK , ports open etc , server running , but on my PC and my friend's pc when we try to join that server ( yes it was listed in the browser ) we can't . We get no errors or anything , it just says server offline but it's in the browser... What's wrong?

It's hard to tell from your post but is it hosted on the same computer you tried to join?

Is he on the same network (read: router) as the server? It's likely a router/firewall issue on the server side.

no , i run the server on dedicated server located in germany , and i'm trying to join to it from my home pc in israel .!

and when i click on the server it tell me the server is offline , my friends tried but the same ..
what to do ?
help pls.

Oh, so it's a dedicated server host? Talk to them then. For some reason the server isn't replying to queries.

If you are running windows try port forwarding the required ports in the windows firewall. (1716, 1717 UDP)

After you have done that, under "server control"

- hit options
- tick "bind server instance to a single IP address"
- Select the servers external IP address (if you are unsure on your server visit this link:b http://whatismyipaddress.com/)
