Title: Group of Americas Army Team
Post by: Chaves on Friday, December 20, 2013, 06:18:58 AM
Good morning person, liked to give an idea here. support groups should be divided into teams, such as do not know if this already but I will expose the same idea .. a group for anti cheat, another group for the game itself, another for bp, another to design maps for another forum, website etc..

first of all do not know if they would like the idea of building a section of the anti cheat group, the page type of bans, database, where all the players who have been banned could go claim the ban or know the reason why they were banned , time, etc.

Basically forum users are already divided in some invisible sections.

Some admins take care of the coding,
others of creating/editing maps
moderators take care of the forums
some people are into beta testing
etc..

I don't know if that's what you mean. It's not because you don't see it, that it doesn't exist ;)

my idea is to make a web page to expose all banned players and team and banned reson of ban Like it http://bans.kiberzona.lt/ (http://bans.kiberzona.lt/) of counter strike and people can claim yor ban and talk with admins

There is already something like the hall of shame, but not every ban is put in it.
I don't know what an admin bases himself on, to put a player there /or not.

We don't show a public ban, why show hackers, that they have been banned, and thus know they need to find away around it?

But, they will find out they have been banned anyway won't they?  :P

This logic is great except the hackers will know they've been banned when they open Assist :) The reason we don't show info is due to HWID changes.

What do you mean? Isn't it possible to put every ban on the hall of shame? Only BT ID, no HWID

It is but it's extra work and not much point to it. The OP was talking about releasing the actual banlist which used to be public until it was turned into private-only.
