Read again.
You're saying that's the only thing you "know". And I asked how you know that. By answering that with "just read what I wrote" you're basically saying you're assuming it.

Right. There is a slight difference. And you're right, the document you provided says that "Works by the U.S. government are not eligible for U.S. copyright protection". And it still doesn't mean the Epic Games has any obligation to let the US Army release Epic Games' code.

Mart you are right. Here is my interpreation, because in Poland if some point agrement says something diferent than law, it can be simply ignored as inlegal. Whole work of us army developers is in publc doman and if Epic Games gave them their sources to modyfy they moved to poblic domain because it is new entity caled in Poland "releated work".

Eliz already pointed out that the amount of code belonging to Epic in the game is at least up to 70/80 %, now that code is likely to be very close to the one used in games that are still being sold.

How do he know?
By reading much of it, and making an educated guess

All of this talk of a new game is doing no good for Assist. Instead, think of how to get new players and AA veterans back to AA Assist

Some. there is plenty of decompilations out there for the uscript's.
But most of those is incomplete, and even if they were complete, the native part of the equation is missing.
