LOL, These are the types of people running servers these days. I get a PM on here today after not logging in here for a few days and this is what it says. Had a hard time understanding WTF he was trying to say to begin with but I think I got the basics.
Summary: You play too good and all the members of our clan don't like that and therefore we are going to ban you from our servers.
You say you wanted to see if I have changed by game play??? You mean you wanted to see if I would let your clan-mates kill me so they can feel better about themselves???
OK Vanoke, Whatever floats your boat. It's your servers and you are entitled to do that but if you do that to any and all players that may play better than you or your mates then you'll never get any better. But I must say that this server ban is a very childish thing to do and I know your not a child.

Hi Engineer you know the past and way clan PUF banned you.
We did led you play on servers to see if ther are changes in gameplay.
but i think you understand were i go to, old members and new members were not realy happy when com into our server including me! becose you are to good. we don t know how ! you will say sound.

Yes, I did host an Ice and Yeti Server. I have them running on and off from time to time. That's one thing we have are servers.

I guess Vanoke did that out of frustration. I understand it can kill their fun, but it's llike that that they will get better. I hear a lot of people crying about too good players, and when they join severs, others just leave because they are too good. I mean, If you want to have a good level one day, play against good people, you can only learn from them.

i dont think engineer hacks to be honest i think he is a good player but sometimes the doubt is there and we saw whit players that stood still didnt move at beginning of round. and he was reporting them. like calling other members bitches. but the question beggin because simply that players leave the server when he get?s in. we where very polite and send him the letter than he posted here explaining the reason of the ban. now he comes here trying to make us fools for the ban. this makes me happy for the ban. if he was a good guy he could try to speack whit us and we remove the ban. thats what a honest and polite man do. not this. thank and good luck to you.

If his calling you bitches or uses inappropriate language there is admin command ''mute'', it is childish to ban someone for language abusing.

It's not quite so straight forward. I've only been with the Clan a short while, and they're all decent blokes. I think this is only the second ban implemented by the Clan in 2 years.
For a start, it was nothing to do with Vanoke, in fact he didn't want to put the ban in place, it was a Clan decision after a vote. Apparently the Clan banned Engineer a few years back, long before I showed up, so this has been going on for quite some time.
Additionally, it was nothing to do with him being good, it was everything to do with how he plays. Folks play America's Army for fun. Fun means playing with friends and having some banter. Fun means having mates you can trust. Fun means playing as a team.
Engineer doesn't play as a team, he's the lone wolf. Worse, he only picks sides that are winning and when they lose, he leaves to go find another strong side he can join so he can win all the time. Having someone like that in your team is anything but fun and it's no wonder folks don't want him on their team.
Engineer, we all know you're one of the best players in the game, that's without dispute. Why not just change and be a team player, and stick around with your mates when the going gets tough instead of leaving and looking for weaker teams to bully all the time to keep your frag rate up? That's what this is really all about mate.

He was not banned for language abuse. I respect All players for me everyone is equal but someone comes to your server calling bitches to other admins or regular players is disrespectful. I just gave this example to show what kind of guy he is since he came whit this t?pic trying to show that he is a saint and the other are idiots.

I agree to many ban happy kiddie admins, this topic is a perfect example, server admins dont like gettn pwnd on there own server so they ban the good players like shown here, guess they dont like the challenge, they like killing the easy targets that have bearly no skill in the game

I played against him long ago, on his server hosting mAAp Ice, maybe the "lone wolf" behavior might define the way he's playing now but i think he wasn't disrespectuful at all. Well, haven't seen many people complaining about him, but if he's misbehaving then just take some screen/logs and confront him with that.

I don't think 2 bans in 2 years warrants a slap happy ban tag. The Clan has very friendly servers always on line, and there is very little in the way of bad attitudes shown by any PUF Clan members that I've seen.

To all the PUF fellas. I have no issue with any of you and never have. I don't believe I have ever disrespected any of you either on server or off. I simply stated that banning me for no reason because you don't like the way I play is rather childish, wouldn't you agree?
In sever I almost never chat other than simply saying hello or informing via in game chat where and "E" is but I don't disrespect people on in game chat. I very very rarely get on TS/Vent as my mic works like crap and with people yacking away I cannot hear anything in game so I cannot imagine where I could have possible offended any PUF members.
As for reasons why I leave server and come back if in fact that is what I did and or do, it can we for a variety of reasons.
Not in any particular order...
1- Phone rings
2- wife rings, lol
3- kids ring
4- dog needs to take a dump.
5- I don't feel like waiting until the round ends.
6- I have to take a dump
7- went to get something to eat
8- whatever else
Anyway if you need to keep the ban in place that is fine by me. I mean you guys have more servers than are really ever needed, but you only want select players to play on them? Seems illogical to me.

Vanoke, GeorgeMac, South, again that is fine it's your server, do what you want.
Since this is a relatively small community and you fellas have such a reasonable large server presence I think it was important to let others know how you treat players that play on your server that you don't like the way they play.
And this talk of me only picking certain sides or winning teams is ridiculous. I play on both sides winners and losers , assault and defense. The issue is how many rounds can you play on the losing team when your teammates don't want to help? I mean even 4,5, 6, 7 on one gets a little tiring sometimes, no?
As for "lonewolf", I do more "e" reporting than anyone else on the server, perhaps to much. I am not a team player cause I don't want to come on TS and BS? Even if I did I probably wouldn't understand a word you guys say anyway.
As for fragrate and honor number I really don't give a shit about either and as far as I am concerned I wouldn't care if assist admins put me back to the like 20 honor and Homey (if your still out there) clear it back to 0 frag. I have long since gave up on caring about that stuff.
But it seems people like you do care cause about FR as you use it against me every chance you get.
And as for the "bitches" term or any other name I don't recall ever saying that to any of the PUF clan members. Like "South is a Bitch" or "PUF's members are all bitches". That would be disrespectful and I just wouldn't do that. Certainly not is the above context.

In short, I'm disappointed that PUF would ban for such a lame reason (unless you had some other motive as well you didn't tell him).I've only played and talked to Midget, but he seemed like a cool guy.
It's your server and you can ban whoever you want, but don't expect people to just be OK with it.
This kind of behavior is never good for the game as a whole.

I saw you play a couple of nights ago in PUF server in forceclass border , you camped the whole time, i spectated you and saw you acting weird like looking thru walls, hills, and turning back real fast shooting staight to hs.I'm not saying you'r cheating, but i'v seen you many times, and you'r game play wasnt the best, you'r ping is even more ridiculous and you make sum weird ass shots preaty much every time.
You camp in every map i see you play like 10 mn in a spot waiting for sum enemy to cross you'r sights, it's just funny that lately enemy's run more in you'r sights then before.... just saying....
They banned you, play in another server like we all do.

Camping, changing teams for frag is part of the game
Since there are no proof of him hacking nobody will take actions unless you want him in the watch list.
Nobody bans for these kind of things, if we going to start banning for this kind of issues then why not ban everyone else.

Most of us recognize that the only way to get better is to play against better competition. I play against better players like noofy or even Jared and get rolled all the time. However I don't cry about it because I know that I'm not going to get better if I don't play against better players.
It's ridiculous how anyone could defend a ban placed simply because the player is "too good."

The Engineer, why don't you just tell them to examine your "FR" a little more closely. With just a little bit of analysis, it's easy to deduce how you're playing ingame. The_Engineer has 8 recent sessions in which he has 0 kills and 0 deaths, and each of these sessions are at least 16 minutes in duration, and some are even as long as 43 minutes. Roughly, on average, in these 0-0 sessions, he spent about a half-hour in the server with no action. And he wasn't merely waiting on people to come in the server, because he has a positive score in each of these 0-0 sessions. Then, take a look at how in ALL his recent sessions, his highest kill count is 15 kills. In that very session, he died only twice and played a total of 46 minutes.
Basically, PUF clan, what The_Engineer is doing is pretty much nothing but waiting -- waiting on clear, clean shots. He is inevitably camping, certainly playing it very safe (perhaps to an extreme degree), and maybe even letting E take the OBJ (depending on the map and what side he ended up on). I think I've only played with The_Engineer once, so I haven't really seen him play, but these types of tracker stats cannot manifest without doing some of the most hardcore camping and patience ever witnessed in AA pubs.
Personally, I wouldn't call that being "too good." And if there's any subtle suggestion that he's hacking, then that'd be awkward, considering his stats, which show he doesn't like getting up in the enemy's face. Just change the way you approach him while in-game and force him to play differently; or maybe force him onto assault. :-)
But banning him, based on what's been said, is a bit odd and unnecessary.

I think some players understood why others didnt. Thats gold because in life we All agree and disagree in everything. Like i dont agree whit some that say we just dont like to die in game, that is false because i take lot more pleasure in playing whit the best players. Hard is best. That we are happyban its false we dont even kick players. We have a good management of the servers. We have the right of suspect some moves he makes and we didnt came p?blic saying that he is a hacker. We speack we got a conclusion we told him private. We may be wrong its true s? we resolved the best way. In private. This is only a game this is not our Job this is for fun but even in fun we like people to be fair and play fair. If you have played the game at all you will know exactly what is being said here. Because we have all seen severs empty in 2 rounds becuse one guy made a difference. One or two leave, then one gets kicked over to the losing side and he leave etc. Blah blah blah. Got it? But something tell me you wont.

Last time I've played against him he was assault I was defence. He called my camper for staying at the objective, while he's the one that hasn't got enough time (6 minutes) to come and get it lol.
There are a lot of players like that, who are very very patient, and just wait for the enemies ...

The PM to Engineer saying he is too good so they're banning him is basically "crying" in the same way you say Engineer is "crying". Not literally, just like the Engineer isn't literally crying, but you know what I mean. I don't see anything wrong with a player pointing out an unjust ban to the community. It happens all the time. If anything, it was a warning for players not to play very good in the PUF server or risk a ban.
Like I said, feel free to ban whoever you want, I'm not trying to tell you who you can and cannot ban. Just don't expect everyone to be happy about it.

I noticed this on his tracker too, but like you said, that's not really a good reason to ban him either.

How often did i see when he is playing on his own server that his
score was engineer 21 ore more - Gast 1 hit if he was lucky.
and that didden`t happend 1 ore twise but all the time,for the time that his server was online.

The Engineer, why don't you just tell them to examine your "FR" a little more closely. With just a little bit of analysis, it's easy to deduce how you're playing ingame. The_Engineer has 8 recent sessions in which he has 0 kills and 0 deaths, and each of these sessions are at least 16 minutes in duration, and some are even as long as 43 minutes. Roughly, on average, in these 0-0 sessions, he spent about a half-hour in the server with no action. And he wasn't merely waiting on people to come in the server, because he has a positive score in each of these 0-0 sessions. Then, take a look at how in ALL his recent sessions, his highest kill count is 15 kills. In that very session, he died only twice and played a total of 46 minutes.
Basically, PUF clan, what The_Engineer is doing is pretty much nothing but waiting -- waiting on clear, clean shots. He is inevitably camping, certainly playing it very safe (perhaps to an extreme degree), and maybe even letting E take the OBJ (depending on the map and what side he ended up on). I think I've only played with The_Engineer once, so I haven't really seen him play, but these types of tracker stats cannot manifest without doing some of the most hardcore camping and patience ever witnessed in AA pubs.
Personally, I wouldn't call that being "too good." And if there's any subtle suggestion that he's hacking, then that'd be awkward, considering his stats, which show he doesn't like getting up in the enemy's face. Just change the way you approach him while in-game and force him to play differently; or maybe force him onto assault. :-)
But banning him, based on what's been said, is a bit odd and unnecessary.

Admins are morons because they want a decent game? If a guy comes in my sever and emptys it because hes to good and everyone leaves his ass is out.
Do you have a screenshot, video as a proof? This is not excuse, some people are just patient. Stop trying to be clever, he doesn't empty servers, i saw him playing with full servers, people must dislike your server if they leave.

If you have played the game at all you will know exactly what is being said here. Because we have all seen severs empty in 2 rounds becuse one guy made a difference. One or two leave, then one gets kicked over to the losing side and he leave etc. Blah blah blah. Got it? But something tell me you wont.
Why do you think they leave just because of him? maybe its you or someone else? Maybe they just bored of the map...really childish excuses.
Like Ganja said some people are really patient, i have seen people like that, its their game play, why we not ban you for normal game play or fast game play then?

Actually if you look at my last sessions on there server you'll see no kills or death in 43 minutes, and then 22 then 18 minutes. Really??? This is obviously tracker not registering anything. I mean who is on a server for that much time without at least registering something? And I wasn't in spectating mode. Obviously a bug in tracker.
Regardless, I think a few of you are missing the point. Its not whether or not I camp or how I play or FR or whether I am a "lonewolf" or whatever other label you want to throw at me, it's the fact that in simple terms I was banned for "being too good" for them and that is simply not a very good reason to ban anyone from a server.
I don't feel I am a great player or a bad player I just don't usually go out into the line of fire, kamikaze style like some do.
Now, I said what I have to say and really I think we should all move on and close this thread. The PUF fellas have there opinion and I have mine.

The thing is, you are a good player on border. But the way you play, it looks like you're in the real army. You are trying not do die. You soundcamp a lot. You take your time. You don't really try to do obj (of what I remember of you).
I understand both sides. It's boring for some people with low sound or low skills to play against you. Like you said, you don't go kamikaze or whatsoever, so the only way to kill you is to soundcamp back, but not all players have a xfi soundcard that makes you hear clicks all over the place. Or another option is to have a good aim, which beginners don't have.
I perfectly understand PUF point of view. They wanna have a server where people have fun, and there's no fun waiting for someone for 6 minutes and getting shot when you finally see where he is.
Maybe you should change your gamestyle, try to be a bit more "risky" if you see what I mean. Or discover other maps instead of whoring one, maybe you'll have fun there too.
And please, please, stop pretending you're not a frag player ...

I agree that you shouldn't have been banned for how you play, but I haven't seen tracker register things incorrectly in this manner, unless you were reconnecting a lot. If you were RC'ing a lot, then yeah -- the scores and FR won't register properly if you leave too soon, like immediately after being killed.

I've seen him play many of times, he's a good decent camping player, so you's all need to get over it, let him play as he wants too, he's not a rusher player like alot of us are
