Can you add the option to increase or decrease FOV ?
It looks better when adding more, the only available way now is only by mpcheat which is not really useful at some situations?

Decreasing the field of view isn't a viable option (tends to make for motion sickness under 85/87 degrees)
Motion sickness : Smaller FOVs tend to exaggerate camera movement, whilst larger FOVs tend to minimise its effect on the image. Thus setting a wider FOV can sometimes help to reduce motion sickness during gameplay. If you are experiencing such problems in Half-Life 2, try changing the FOV to 90 using the command "sv_cheats 1;fov 90" in the console.

If you run 25Assist in Widescreen, FOV will be set to 101
You can set "WideScreen FOV" in the Tab Settings in the 25Assist client.

The main problem with the widescreen FOV is your screen snaps everytime you stop aiming down your sites.

Better dont mess with the FOV. I remember Half-Life 2 made me sick. It was really the only game for me that had such a feature :D

I need widescreen on but of course with that we have the zoom glitch

Dav3 your quite the perfectionist, I though only I had noticed that. Lucky I have a 4:3 monitor so it don't bother me.

Practically all monitors and laptop and tv screens have been the non generic square for YEARS and years.
As much as I hate "wide screen" for gaming, my monitor is a 16:10, play at 1600x1050. Its also rare to have monitors in this aspect as well...most are your average extreme wide screen at 16:9. Prior to that I was on a 17 inch 4:3
The difference between the two are quite significant. ( 16:10 > 4:3 > 16:9 )

I think its safe to say most people now have a widescreen format? Im sure widescreens took over the majority in like 06 lol

I hate them! widescreen is so inappropriate for computer use. i will always have a 4:3
when reading a web page or looking through text documents its important to have height, widescreen is only good for watching movies.

I could never do a 16:9
You should look at 16:10's they are bad ass.

Sounds to me like you should get a monitor that rotates, regardless of 16:9 or 16:10.
I've never had the priviledge of using a 1080p monitor, only 16:10 1680x1050 monitors but unfortunately, it seems 1080p is much easier to find with better choices. 1920x1200 jumps up in price, especially if you want a quality panel.
