I have a problem when connecting to the server, and when the game is started a window pops up with an error and the program shuts down, do you have any way to fix this? I would add that removed the settings file somewhere as it was recommended, but nothing helped.

Usually this is caused by missing the files in the 25Assist folder. You need to extract everything out of the download. Click the Info link at the top of this page and re-download the latest version (you're also out of date).

I download new files 25Assist and join the server and what is more i too have this error. This is my files 25Assist folder:

This error is inducted for files AA or 25Assist ? Because game open no problem.

You need the .exe and it's 25Assist .dll files in the folder next to it. When you download Assist, extract the folder and .exe to your desktop.

I have version:
25Assist Server: ONLINE v.7.46, but in up for belt is written "AA 2.5 Assist v.7.45". In any event i have actually lastest version, because i don't have information to update.

goto the settings tab and click 'reset and repair aa' all will work then.

but you have to change to the settings tab section. did you do that?

Delete this folder:
C:\Users\ your username \AppData\Roaming\25Assist
And delete everything related to the 25Assist.exe
Download a new version of assist. And install. If this doesnt help, throw your computer out of the window.

im getting this same error for a while now , anyone know how to fix it without having to reinstall? i got win7 x64, tried run as admin but no luck

Same here, still the same error. Win XP. tryed all tips, any helps?

Since that's an Assist error, do you have all of your Windows Updates done? Even the optional ones? Keep checking back in the updates as sometimes when you install an optional .NET package, up comes 15 more updates related to that package.

i checked, all is updated. .Net is on version 4.5 the newest for XP.
Still the same problems.

My suggestion would be to wait until the next update. Won't be but a few more days :)

Usually this is caused by missing the files in the 25Assist folder.
I only find this as the best and only solution for this error. Place exe assist in libs folder, try deleting everything. Go to local disk, users, your admins user, app data, Roaming, and u see assist delete it, everything an so the new install. Make sure no other programme is running, disable your anti virus as well.

the good part is that this error appearance is to be random. Sometimes i can play for hours and then it starts, the other time its form the start.
