It's been talked about and ELiZ has done some work towards it. If BT were to totally fall, we(he) would find a way. However, it's simpler with them right now.

You misunderstood wickid, I think. By "get rid o BT" he meant "get rid of stat tracking", not replacing one tracking system with another.
You still need to track honor and players. And having accurate tracking for stats helps us catch some of the repeat-offending TK'ers as well.

Well tracking is not an obligation, and Wickid would be better without it, which I can understand sometimes, but it would take away certain kind of long term amusement

Not really do u really think we need a tracker for a 11 year old game??? No we don't only 1's that will complain about no tracker are the 1's that worry about frag rate

I donated to -ACI- A fair amount of money not for badges or recognition. I always did it anonmously. I never donated here for a very simple reason inconsistancy from admin and attitudes. That wont change me giving that is. If I did donate it would only be to Eliz for his work, for his personal commitment to AA. And it would be souly for him.

All the money that's being donated goes towards covering costs with running the game (mainly the auth server).
If you were to make a deal with ELiZ and give him tons of $$$ I'm sure he wouldn't mind, though ;)

You are another person that knows nothing of assist history.
Unfortunately i remember assist history everytime i came here and see some ban appeal, and i think to myself: "joyfully nothing has changed, assist still have zero tolerance policy for hackers, its all about consistency and stricy rules".
