because of the ddos and the idiot who is doing it is lag on the server Grandma.
so do not be surprised and cry that the lag,now see why.

I would love someone find this idiot and report it to the police and the competent authorities for the same.
maybe now the perpetrator of ddos find the service provider
maybe and assist admin can take some action.have earlier some players that are suspected..
if I can check them out and a lifetime ban from aao2

you are wrong,ddos almost killed ao2 ,It all happened earlier and the player's base was close to closing the game!
and now if we do not do something forever be an idiot to kill aao2.
in my opinion it is someone who plays every day.

you did not want to pay for protected servers (Merlin) and there are so many server owners who pay for the same amount of money for the servers as well as for protected servers,and the difference is obvious!
fuck it,such people are they only think that someone will cheat them,(and everything can be checked).
You will see that if all the sa just gets worse and that of ddos we will not be able to play from the lag and fall of the server.

This is an international issue therefore no police have authority to deal with it and the assist team is just a random project, not an organization of some kind. Interpol or nsa doesn't care. Its a slippery slope any way you look at it. Just create a good server and it wont go down to ddos, even if you can feel some lag when they try...

how to make a "good" server when the service provider is unable to do so?(in this case Nitrado).
when a ddos attack occurs it happens lag it is so long that players leave the server..
we all had that before..

You gave the answer yourself. If the provider cant handle, change. lol Not even kidding, Im portuguese, living mostly in Portugal, but I have my main server's UK-based. Historically, they've had the best servers.
Or.. create server directly on a data-center. Since I do it, and do it on a VPS, I have total control over everything including bandwidth stress relief. Also, probably cheaper than buying all those fake ddos protections people have been talking about. Those dont work coz the attack occurs on a couple of layers above the game server.
The downside of having to use that methid is having to take care of everything yourself with minimal to no support. Personally, I think thats a good thing but Im probably in the minority. This way I, and my brother, have been able to put respawn working (just included RespawnMod), create custom classes (changing UltimateMod and others, still need a workaround for a little problem here for making it fully automatic) and we might even be able to get new weapons in the game (although people would have to download some files manually). We have been playing around with Lightning Gun from UT2k4 buts its still too stupid to call it success lol. Things you cant customize using those services. So you decide if its a good thing or not.
Havin all that said, its an outdated software. No measure is perfect. We'll just have to wait for the spiritual successor coming its way.
btw, everyone starting red and using SPR is pretty fun.

I really do not want to fight with ddos anymore, look for help and everything else..
server has been paid for several months,then we'll see what's going to be,in all likelihood the idiot will kill the game as if he had not killed him yet,and aao2 has barely returned from the dead after ddos attack and now again the same.

This should be solved by others, the service provider and the assist admin if they can..

The assist admins cant do anything about it anymore. It seems they fixed the problems with the auth server that was vulnerable to DDoS attacks last year. The rest is out of their reach.
They implement things once in a while. If they dont do more its coz they cant. We just have to deal with it. The game will go on until a similar one, built on newer engine is working properly. I wanted to believe armyops would be it but Im not so sure anymore.
