i've already done:
-update PB
-fix PB
-relaunched Assist

I'm going to try to restart my computer after i'm done posting this. any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Make sure you're running Assist as administrator.

what is your internet speed?
do you use a modem?

if you do use windows, open a dos box and type:
tracert www.aao25.com

then do:
ping www.aao25.com

past the result in here. I am almost sure you are loosing packets because of bad connection.
it should look like:

The stability of connection to aao25.com will have no impact on the gaming experience.

Neither Assist nor AA connects to this website.

Usually an error like this is caused by PnkBstrA.exe or PnkBstrB.exe being blocked by the firewall I believe.
