I was going to go around commenting in all of the America's Army torrents to advertise for Assist and I realized that "2.5Assist" was in the tags for that one :)
I'm downloading it now and am going to seed for quite a while, just to help out those that don't know anything about Assist or the official site.

Came from Demonoid apparently. I want to know who is putting these up. It'd be nice if they popped by the forum and said, 'hey I made a torrent bla bla bla'.

No its not me, and at 68mb i've no idea what the hell it is.
someone should download it and open it with care to find out.
I don't see the point of using torrents when we have download mirrors all over the world that will max out your connection.

It was me, I am MoreToShareUK on Various private trackers and have been a AA2 player & ACI server owner for many years, there was a clue in the PDF in the Torrent ;D
I hope you didn't mind, I thought it would be good publicity to get it out there. It contains info & links back to your site & Download servers. As they are very fast I saw no need to include 2.5 in there and with the links they always get the latest version.
Great job you guys are doing with 2.5 assist and thank you for rescuing my favourite game.
Blues post did show on Demonoid & I have PM'd him btw.

I also posted in one of the biggest forums of my country, but not much ppl posted there :-\.
I have a Blackcats account, that's probably the biggest gaming community, but I don't think they allow uploading just the little AA25ASSIST!

Thank you Jonny, I have uploaded over 3.5 gig in x 64mb packages myself and there are usually double figures seeding & leeching most of the time, I put it out on Peer Exchange, DHT, and Magnet as well as trackers so it is unlikley it will ever die.

As for the torrent, it's pretty cool, even though Assist is probably outdated. Since it auto-updates, it's no problem. I'm still seeding it for anybody that needs it, it's just another great way to get the word out. Good job SeeYourDoom.

Thanks for all your positive comments :) Sorry not been back to the topic for a while, had some RL stuff to do. Im not sure if its the same in your torrent clients but I always seem to have between 5 to 20 leechers all the time which is great. See you in the game guys :)
