Title: Anyone here from -=mTr=-? Are there any Pipeline MOS servers?
Post by: fyodorjung on Friday, May 20, 2016, 03:18:23 AM
Hey, all.

Wow, I had no idea this game was still active. I played around 2006-2008, and quit a few months into 3.0.

Any former -=mTr=- (Meet the Reckoning) members here?

I remember we used to run a popular Pipeline server where every once in a while we'd forceclass MOS for some really fun 12 vs. 12 matches. Do any servers nowadays do that? If so, what servers, because I'm in :D.

For as much as I've played this year, every time I hop on Pipeline, some admin forceclasses MOS for everyone within an hour. Might just be the time I played on.

Although I have seen people complain about the low activity in the NA side of things so you might have trouble finding a Pipeline server at all.

Ah, thanks for the inside info! I just might give it a shot... I did read in some other threads a lot of people leaving "Assist." I take it 2.8.5 and the other one are pretty different and not at all like AA2 :-(

Well, 2.8.5 is still good old AA2, it's just not got any authentication. Plus it doesn't run in Linux/Mac, has working AI and is a bit heavier on the PC.

As for AA3 and AA4/AA:PG they're a lot different gameplay wise. IMHO they've gone a wrong way, but who am I to argue with an army the size of the US Army.
