Aiming
« on: Sunday, February 19, 2012, 04:07:06 AM »
I have a question, why when i shoot the aim goes up and i always don't make to kill anyone fast:P
It's not recoil, i don't think u can even have on mac, do i have to change settings or is it my mac fault?
any questions would be appreciated, and any mac user can help me?

Two things come to my mind:

A) If you were a PC-player and have just recently moved to Mac, then it might be that you're not used to how Macs deal with mouses. It's not a whole lot of a difference, but when it comes to aiming, it truly makes a change. Advice: Move the sensibility of your mouse a tad down.

B) You might not be completely familiarized with how the weapons sights work. What you see in-game doesn't quite correspond to where the bullet actually goes. Most of the weapons, save a few snipers --namely the .50Cal, SVD and MOS-- and pistol, are slightly off and loose it towards bottom-left. Adivce: Aim slightly above and to the right of your opponent.

I haven't played on PC for the first time AA, first time i played is MAC, i also played on PC which I see aiming is quiet good. MAC has magic mouse, and it's totally different from pc's. I have already changed sensitive in both ways but don't work well enough.

Lol. It's recoil. Macs DO have recoil. All platforms that run AA2 have recoil.

ive never played on a mac, so have no clue in comparison. but here's my tactic for 'fixing' recoil

- gun pulls up and to the right when fired
2- so, i 'fight' the recoil, i  pull the mouse diagonally down and to the left when firing...keepin the gun pointed where i want bullets to fly.

another tip, practice the gun your missing with in SP, so you can know at what point on the iron site the bullet will hit. (if that make sense)

....and if none of that works, just take the SAW (AR), with 200 bullets, your bound to kill something (at least a nurse)

You gotta have a nuclear soul

And you gotta have a mercury soul

try reformatting your hard drive to remove this recoil error

Yep, that will definitely solve your problem. ^^
