ok we have rented a server by Art Of War

the server should be running 2.5 of Americas Army now but how do we get the server to show up on the 2.5Assist  panel ?? does anyone have any idea how to make this happen  the server we have is a non honor with this IP 213.152.170.144:1716 the server is called The Party After we used to play on AA 2.8.5  but since they shut that down we wanted to be able to keep playing on Mountain Pass with people that can see the server ?

Can you PM me the login details for the server? I need the control panel to stop and start server and ftp access to change files around.

So we can use any host for the server to run 2.5 Assist and not the 2listed ??

Technically, yes, as long as they install AA 2.5 for you.

Only if they give you FTP access to modify files on the server, And then you have to install Assist on there yourself. If you use the listed server providers this is all done for you.

Last I used AOWC you could upload files via TCAdmin. Even if you can't you can give the dedicated server to them and they will install it.

ok our server is running on 2.5 now and ready everything is working correctly after some small issues with the guys from art of war help desk we figured it out and the server runs smooth    can someone tell me where i need to download all those [MAAP]  maps  so i can put those on the server too  cause when i want to switch the server to there now its returning to the map it was on so those maps are not yet on the server Maps folder

I just realized that people running dedicated servers will have to choose between normal or mAAp. Meaning, mAAp uses different files and when you upload, you will be overwriting other files. Dedicated servers may have to be running only normal mode until mAAp v7 is released. It would be quite pointless to release a mAAp v6 for dedicated when v7 is so close.

No the dedicated server downloads the mAAp pack when it starts, This is not optional, IT WILL ALWAYS DOWNLOAD MAAP PACK, and works exactly the same as the desktop version.

its for now a non honor server that is running from a host  they downloaded and installed the server installer for 2.5 Assist and put that on the server  so it is running but the mAAp packs for some reason not work can it be that surtend mAAp maps are not working yet ??  cause if i go with F12 in the admin console i can select it and let server change but it will go back to the map where it was on already  and does anyone know for any change how to make it possible to open all weapon slots in the server i checked the whole Armyops.ini file but i could not find the text for it and i also checked online to see if there is any info about that but for now i cannot find it

i will take a closer look into the 2.5Assist thing and ask the host about it
ohh and im not looking for any changes in the ini i just wanted to see if there was a possibility to open the slots nothing more than that
