25Assist server mods?

Is it possible to have random weapons on the 2.5 servers? I was running a 2.8.5 server with the AAmods.com mods that would give everyone the same random weapon each round. Is this possible on the 2.5 servers?

Possible for sure. I've asked Jonny if he would implement it and I think he said no. Maybe getting more people will sway the decision :)

Thanks! By the way, I have a new server up and running usually only on friday nights when me and my buddies play. It's based out of the state of Washington.

Hey can anyone tell me If I can make a server for AA25assist running somekind of 3rd party server mods?

Which server mods could work on aa 2.5 server? As I said somewhere, I tried the ultimateserver mode, but it just crashed (It was always looking for agp vehicles if I can remember which is something from 2.7 and up or 2.8.x or whatever).

You can load any mod made for 2.5. Whether or not it will conflict with the existing Authorization mods or not, that's up to you to test :)

You can load any mod made for 2.5. Whether or not it will conflict with the existing Authorization mods or not, that's up to you to test :)

I have a collection of mods, I may see if any work.

Random weapon's and other mods were good at keeping v2.8.5 alive not sure they will help here and I don't want to see every server running mod's so I'm divided on this, but there is already a force class option which is really doing the same thing for 1 weapon type.

Be careful what you do, G.O.W put a random weapon mod on their server and it conflicts badly with our auth system, i've had to temp block that server from the auth system. I can see what the problem is so it will get fixed in the next update.
But anyways you need to be careful how it will react and what unforseen effects it could have.

Probably because most of the mods had there own auth system.
