hello,
So I have a problem:
in the assist, it says '25Assist Server: OFFLINE'
and then: 'Authorization Server: FAILED TO CONNECT'
and I'm not sure what's wrong. (Servers are actually on-line as I can see on the website (http://natescomp.com/list))
Also in the 'deploy' tab it fails to connect to either 25Assist or Gamespy server.
The recent changes in my system that might be related are as follows:
- installed COD4 (yeah you can lol at me ;) that was the only way I could play with my mate)
- had problems with PunkBuster in COD4, had to reinstall it, but it seems to be a different copy of PB than the one 25assist uses?!
- my firewall (Comodo) got updated - but I tried disabling it and the problem persists.
If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated (:

is this a new installation or did you already played aa25assist ?
if you already played it, then start aa25assist and go to server tab. try to start as a server and watch the ports. are they green or red ?
if red, then you have a firewall problem.
and punkbuster should not be the problem, because you are not even connected to. so i guess it is a firewall problem (see the ports to be open at forum)

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah I had been using aao25 for a while.
I could not go to the 'server' tab, as if it was disabled - nothing happens when I click on it.
But it WAS the firewall indeed; I disabled all its components (not just 'firewall' like before, but also 'defense' and 'sandbox security') and it fixed the problem.
I think I don't like the new version of Comodo firewall, will need to educate myself on the settings or get another one :/
Thanks again!
