What clan hasn't Thor been in :D I've started a bet with him to see if he can hold a clan for 6 months. He has to report in and provide evidence that his clan is alive and that he is indeed in it on the first of every month until June 1st 2010 at which point if he is still in his alive clan I will give him $20. However, I doubt he'll last a month in which case I get $20. So this will be his report-in thread (I'm banking on the fact that Headshot! will be around).

On an unrelated note, it would be awesome to be the person that makes up the questions for the applicant. Just ask them a bunch of bogus shit and see what they have to say.

I think that if you live in the United States you should know English more than any other language, seeing how that is the language of the country. There is no need to get mad about it. Those are just my thoughts.

the United States does have an official language. But we are moving towards not having one. Where I live they are putting everything in Spahish as well as English. Hell, you can even take the citizenship test in Spanish now....

I live 30 minutes from Canada, but it's Ontario Canada so it's mostly English there.

At least you live in the US and are a "Mexican American"; which automatically introduced you to English/American since before your teenager days.

Whereas I understand the coolness it is to be a American Mexican; --mind me, but if you've lived all your life in American, then that's the way you should be addressed, and not otherwise (even-though I know, society-wise, the terms follow a blood structure instead)-- there is something that simply doesn't add to it. Ok u need to know that i come from Mexican mom and dad. That makes me full blooded mexican its just the fact that i was born in the US so that makes me a Mexican American and since my mom and dad didnt know english when i was born they talked to me in spanish and that became my first language. Until i went to school and learned english so it became my second language.

You were born in US. You have been living as a US / American citizen ever since. If I were to have a guess at your age, I would say you are around thirteen; which leaves you with around seven years of full-practicing and learning the language. It doesn't matter whether your parents are Mexicans or Chinese; not to the issue at question, I am afraid. To put it in context, it is in the age of thirteen that school pressures the most in regards to grammar learning, phrase construction and its structure --which further supports the logical sense to assume you are "cool" enough to skip classes-- Very brave and commendable, sir.
Give up on the pride of being an outcast.
There is nothing great in being a retard.
Either be a wise outcast, or follow the crowd otherwise.

In a perfect world that would make sense, but in the United States today I will be considered much more qualified for a job if I have a college degree, and its value is many times better if from a prestigious university. Marquette University is not very "prestigious", but it is my goal (unless of course I am accepted by the University of Wisconsin at Madison by some miracle).

and I don't have the money to go to college anywhere outside of the U.S. I probably don't even have the money to go to college outside of Michigan.

30 is not a high ACT requirement.
As for a college education, its completely unnecessary. Its helpful for some people, while for others its of no use to them. After a certain point, there's certain people that just really discover what it is they will be doing, and for them, college is a complete waste. Its not like they will get any better by listening to someone blabbering their mouth about some subject.
Plus theres plenty of people in the US and around the world that have become extremely successful without a college education.

1. Yea, they obviously need more schooling than I do.
2. Money, time, making sure you know what you want to do, generic/boring/pointless classes that have nothing to do with the career you want to pursue, fucked up politics and side-events... I could go on but I have better things to do.
I'm glad Blueblaster posted. If you know what you want to do, then pursue that OUTSIDE of college. You'll spend less time and money and you'll thank yourself.

Well... Part of the agreement was that he provide proof that he is in the clan and that the clan is still active. He's not on the roster but his profile says "America's Army Leader" here: http://1clickgaming.net/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=9 and he was online today. I'd say that I win the bet. He hasn't provided proof and isn't on the roster. Either he's not in the clan or the clan is lazy or inactive enough to not put people on the roster. So... explain thor?
