I thought maybe we could tell each other about our favourite shooter games.
Just a few I can think of:
I like
1) F.E.A.R. (all of them)
2) Far Cry 1,2,3 & 4
4) Crysis 1,2 & 3
5) Sniper Ghost Warrior 1 & 2
6) Max Payne 1,2 & 3
7) Hitman Series
8) Call of Duty Series
New games that look nice

I meant nothing of the sorts. I just don't play any other shooters. I did in the past, but very seldom.

I like playing Ego Shooters now and then when I don't feel like talking
- just on my own - it is kinda relaxing with some Ganja :)

2. STALKER series
3. Fallout New Vegas
4. Red Orchestra 2 (the only other multiplayer shooter I enjoyed a lot)
5. Metro 2033 and Last Light
6. Borderlands 2
7.Bioshock Series
8. Spec Ops: The Line (very interesting story)
also, Dying Light isn't really a shooter. Yeah it's first person and there are guns in the game, but 95% of the combat is using melee weapons. Mirrors Edge is the same thing, very little shooting to be done there.

Maybe I missed out on a good title over the years

Yes. im in love already. Even tho i can play only 1 map (hospital inside part only ) and its a bit laggy but still more fun than AA2's pipe/ua and hosp.

Novalogic is around, not much active last time i checked, loved delta force black hawk down and df 2, Im not sure but JO is live again.

I have all the Novalogic games, and yes there is still an online community for it.
They are supposed to be developing a new FPS, but not seen or heard much since DFx2 came out.

I mean now. Getting more n more bored to those 3 maps.
Tbh im really happy i can play aapg with my crappy pc. Just tweaked the settings very low.

If by "very low" you mean disabling some graphics settings in the .ini, beware that a few server admins kick or even ban for that (Hospital Dudes, [ES], CFT and SD - which bans for these - are ones i remember of). Kicking or even banning for such things is useless but they do it anyways (one of my clanmates has been kicked even for disabling the maximum FPS limit from the .ini!).

I got kicked from a few servers but once i saw the reason i went to my .ini and changed that.

Have you tried Kane and Lynch - funny characters
I also quite liked that Blackhawk Down - especially the black guys shouting around
all excited - thats exactly how they sound like in Africa lol
