bäh had wanted now to makw second server i have 3 partitions now...C,E,F...but assist says this....

2.5assist does not have write permissions in it's home directory. assist can not work under this conditions. please check the write permissions in the 25assist folder and check that you do not have another instance of 2.5assist already running.

have thought i can make a server on a other partition?

 ???

some body know how to make it ???

Assist reads from a hard-coded directory that's not changeable. I think you might be able to copy your 25Assist folder and just run the .exe's in the server folder to run a server. I could be wrong though. This is something Jonny will have to think about for implementing, changing directories/drive letters.

I was looking after this, tried to replicate the issue and i haven't find a real solution aside of a virtual machine for the very good reason that Nates mentioned.

So, in the meanwhile you might try a virtual machine, win7 has one that seems to be decently integrated and it's capable of running an XP environment (at least that's what Microsoft says)
