It's almost sad to see CPU's slowly slipping away.

And then when the GPU accelerates everything and the computer massivly slows down, someones going to say "What if we use the CPU?"

Hahahahaha. Well, I'm no expert but I can't see the CPU diminishing any time soon. This article was just rather surprising, is the web really that hard to render? GPU-accelerated Flash, sure. But text and images? I guess GPU-accelerated Javascript would be nice.
