Wow, I'm currently using 2.9.9 and I usually like to keep up-to-date. Hopefully they added an automatic upgrade feature :D

Just gonna bump this... Fraps 3.0.3 does not have the destop capture feature.  I had to find my 3.0.1 installer again for that.  What good is FRAPS without that feature?

:) Believe it or not, I've never used it to capture desktop video. 98% of the time I use it for a FPS meter and nothing else lol. Good to know though.

lol, yeh, bumping a 3 month old thread.

Found out why it wasn't giving the option.  It removes it when in Windows Basic (like when the game loads up...).

At least you're coming back :) I think you're searching for the term "Aero" which is something I've been meaning to post about.
