Does anyone have the Counter Strike Global Offensive Beta? I am trying to grab an extra key! If anyone has one PM me and we can work something out.

I wouldn't say its the last hope.
League of Legends is BIG right now and getting bigger.
In terms of FPS, there's nothing big right now. People still play CS 1.6, CS:S, TF2, cod 4 but nothing like when COD4 or even AA was at its prime.

Call of Duty on PC is completely dead in the competitive scene--on the console, that is another story. Even CS and CSS are pretty dead. A lot of players, teams, and professional organizations are looking into coming back for CS:GO.

I don't even consider the Modern warfare series (if that was what you meant, i guess) a decent tactical fps, health re-generating by itself, even auto-aiming in some versions...bah. CS is just an immediate FPS from ages ago.

That one always gets me lol. That is why I usually play with scope weapons. I'm not too fond of shooting without some kind of sight.

Let's just say the flashbangs are terrible compared to 1.6 and CSS, but hey, I am used to it.
If I get any more keys, I will toss them out here.

2. Why i find it shitty ?
- Too fast therefore unrealistic
- In-game tactic shifts or constructive communication are impossible because of the speed of action
- Throwing nades or reloading at the speed of light isn't really appealing
- And so on...
Rythm timings and speed are almost perfect in AA...

You can also add in that having to hipfire the whole time is incredibly dumb.

I always enjoyed a bit of CS from time to time. Surf maps oh yeah.

None of the popular competitive games are very realistic. They are popular because people enjoy watching fast paced games, rather than watching someone slow prone through Mountain Pass SE for 10 minutes...CS rounds are under 2 minutes.

I don't like RPG's but I created an League of Lgends account and also subscribed to the closed Beta for my country lol.

Cod4 was really big when the game was released I remember cal season1 had over 300 teams, but yes cs:go is the last hope for FPS gaming, a lot of the cod players are moving to it they hand picked who was playing in the first esea invite and a call of duty team made the list and will probably do very well.

Looking to get into this competitively
Cal-M+ in both AA and Cod played abit of source my buddy who works beside me used to play for iog and area51 and a few other teams for source. getting me into this game he will follow along aswell :)

That's the fact. I can't see EU who cares about competitions in video game. Only NA players takes it seriously.

I don't see how this game is the one single hope for the continuation of PC gaming... you're ignoring other genres and games. Perhaps you're talking serious competition in which case I know nothing about and will continue to give no fucks about. You don't need serious competition to keep games alive, you simply need people that enjoy the game and actually play it. Simple.

I stated before for FPS games, there are tons of other massive games out there. For you to say EU players don't play games competitively is why some people in the world are just dumb. (No offense) but you sir are just talking out your ass with no knowledge once so ever. Look at Dota, Sc2, LoL, Cod4 had a huge EU scene aswell. Yes spanky you are right but most massive games have a competitive scene as well.
