Hello Ladies and the other geeks,
Brave yourselves.
Today is the the day !
The day on which you are all going to take a walk on the Bridge, get out of the Urban city, and go heal your wounds in the Hospital, after you got blown up by an explosion in the goddamn Pipeline
This evening, let's all hold hands together on Weapons Cache SE. A very interesting map, combinating close combat, nades, sound and don't worry you'll be able to sit and wait there too !!
After you opened up assist, and once you feel the excitement of discovering a new map, you'll have to join the Official AAO25 server, which will be on WC SE.
And if you feel like socializing with other geeks, you're more than welcome to join the Official AAO25 Teamspeak (ts.aao25.com)
NO ABSENCE WILL BE TOLERATED :makemyday:

Like last time on River Basin, I was surprised people actually joined. We were 16 during 30 minutes and then people start leaving cauz they were out of their comfort zone. Guess it's a good start ... but still a little dissapointing. It's like having a lot of fun and not understanding why people leave to fill up a 3d hospital server (like raw told me)

as i did look at the server around 20.20 you were alone there.
therefor we changed from SF Old Town to the Official Server WC SE.
the conclution for myself: we should select every week a map to play. time 20.30 CEST. then the clans like HT, PUF and others should join at this time. then server will be full, otherwise not.

sunday, monday friday and saturday are usually the best days for such a thing, pick a date ;)

sunday should be reserved by scrims/matches - so not good
monday - yes
friday and saturday - could be, but a lot do have partys and stuff like that :)
so i would say for myself the best day = monday

nice... about river basin didnt worked after 30 min i think its the same discussion that is going on about radio tower.. 3 objs its hard whit a few players.. if we could have 2 objs would probably be faster rounds... i think some people to start to like a map they had to play a bit more. and if they got killed at the beggining they just leave because they dont want to wait...

that's the reason most distance maps are not played anymore.
People don't like to wait now.
I remember in the old times when I was a high school kid, I was making my homework/studying when I died, that's what I call efficiency ;).

I still do :) But when you get better on AA you survive longer which means you study less, sot's not working as much as it was when I wa a bridge crossing whore ^^.
On topic, something should be announced by Assist admins itself, saying EVERY monday we play a special map. Old school players should be aware that they can come and have fun every monday if they are bored now. It could even be a message on the AA loading page ...
IMO there should also be a poll about the map that's going to be chosen. Give players few choices every week and let them vote. One week could be long range, other week could be SF maps, then short range etc ...

For all monday evening players:
GcC usually plays Border mondays (around 19:30 / 20:00 GMT+1 (CEST)).
Is not the biggest outdoor, long range map, but it's something else to urban and hospital :)
Everyone is invited to join.
PS: We don't mind play assault, so you can hide and wait for us ;)

ok GcC, are you able and willing to play every Monday on a separate map we do chose in here for the next Monday?
would be great. and I will also call HT and PUF to do so. then we have to balance the teams that the well known players do not overweight. so no one has to rage quit soon. this would work I am sure.
and also true, all other clans are very welcome to fill every Monday a official aao25 server - for Europe the uk one.
I guess we should try this, next Monday we play a new map, like ?
come on, go ahead and choose one, then play Monday on a full server and - yes - every team do teach new players if needed.

We don't like overfilled servers and maybe we could set the monday evening server to 16 or maximum 18 slots. So we have a constant fight and the server is still interesting (you have to be there at 20:00 otherwise the server is full).
Then we would like to play together (gcc) when there are enough players on the server. I think thats sure and every clan wanna do it like this. ;)

official aa sounds ok. but is there an european server? i can't find an official european aao25 server. most of us will be europeans, then why play on a us server?
