As you might know, we are recreating the AA3 maps to be played in 25Assist.
Some of the decisions regarding the maps will be made by you the players.
So to start off, cast your vote on what type of objective type you want for the recreated AA3_Bridge:
Assault:

Here is what the AA3_Bridge map looks now.
Still lot of work to be done, but I think it's coming along nicely...

I haven't played a lot of bridge on AA3 but i certainly prefer classic or assault

I think I would prefer the type Assault.
Classic is really favoring defense, just as the old classing Bridge Crossing itself.

Exactly ELiZ, I would like to see it more balanced where both teams are encouraged to Assault and have strategy instead of just camp and win.

I don't get the first picture. One team spawn in the middle of the bridge, just in front of the objective? Or I read it wrong?
Anyway I would rather say no extraction

In the middle its objectives, both teams spawn at their side as usual.

Assault is the way I see one of the best situation to play the game , but if its possible think about this setting
I think it would be better if the defenders 3-3 on both sides of the bridge so you can start the battle in the village. now you create a defence spot around the tower. And whit this setting defenders can choose if they run to the tower ore make it assault already difficult in village.
Assault can slip trow ore around the defence line and go to tower. but you do not know what you can find there is the extration point whit ore whitout defence players.
And a little more obstacles on the bridge if possible its to open in my opinion!
Negatieve point of setting of Assault like you described in above picture :
If you led defence players on the tower they must wait there till assault is comming on bridge (Its not actieve the guys that start on both sites of bridge they have the best of the game) they kill the assault and the guys in tower diddent see nobuddy!!!!!!!!! :oops:

Extraction seems a befitting choice...with slight changes:
I'd prefer a more challenging gameplay to be enforced by making it so that, in order to win, either team would have to:
- Reach objective (Z, placed in the Roof/Centre Bridge)
- Retrieve objective back to the team's spawn area.
As opposed to reaching the objective an carrying it all the way to the opponent's spawn area. This would provide greater dynamism to the gameplay as both teams would be forced to deploy assault and defence strategies. Each team would consist of two squads: Assault Squad & Defence Squad. In-depth explanation follows:
ASSAULT SQUAD
Objective:
Retrieve and extract objective.
Available Slots:
- Captain (R)
- Rifleman (R)
- Heavy Rifleman (AR)
- Rifleman + Medic (R)
DEFENCE SQUAD
Objective:
Provide support for Assault Squad and strategically apply defensive tactics to allow Assault Squad to retrieve the objective back to their spawn.
Available Slots:
- Captain (R)
- Sniper (M24)
- Sniper (M86)
- Rifleman + Medic (R)
Scenario Hypothesis:
Team A Strategical Roll-Out Hypothesis:
- Assault Squad rushes to objective (Z).
- Assault Squad is forced back due to Team B's offensive attack.
- Defensive Squad covers Assault's Squad retreat.
- Both teams re-organise.
- Assault commences again.
Essentially, this change would make it so both teams require greater organisation, communication and effectiveness in order to win. It would break Bridge off the common and generally applied grenade-launcher spawn-shots, sniper sit-and-wait defensive tactics as well as the ordinary rush-through-the-ledge-with-smoke-grenades Assaulting tactics.

I've changed my mind.
I changed my vote to Extraction, seems to be the most even alternative.
Took me a couple of read-throughs to really get what 3 three alternatives ment.

It's all fine if everyone familiar with the objective and willing to play their roll. What is usually happens in maps where team work is needed (like SF Hospital) is that everyone just do what they want. You'll also need enough players playing at the same time

1- Assault game :up: :D
I think this is fast and actieve game!
2- Classic :? :?
Big minus point is battle is mostly only on bridge thats way i don t play this game
3- Extraction :shock: :mad:
Big minus point is it take to muts time you have battle on bridge and time to get to OBJ and back to Extraction don t get kill in the begin,you must wait to long in this setting.

im really disappointed in the choise of the map...
man we got already a normal bridge, Bridge SE, MAAP bridge and you guys want to get the AA3 bridge to aao25? You guys don't think that we got enough bridge maps? There are happening here really weaird things with the devs of Assist...

It's a global conversion of AA3 maps, not just Bridge. Before releasing AA3 Bridge, we could have a vote to get rid of Bridge Construction. Getting rid of it wouldn't bother me in the least. I spent a lot of time on that map but it was one of my early ones and is pretty noobish and pointless.

Looks it's going to be either Assault or Extraction.
So any of you that voted on Classic can change your vote to either of this 2 options.
If it comes to close between the 2 options, I'll, as the one doing then mapping, will make the choice.
