Is it possible to use aao25 in combination with this device? What are your ideas about this combination? :style:

Definitely would be cool.

I don't know much of the hardware, so I might be wrong in the following.

I doubt that such an old engine that we have here would support the usage of Oculus Rift in any way.
I would guess that in order for a game to work decent with this, it would have to be custom built for it.

Yeah, not only is the engine a restriction, but we do not have access to the game code to make this work.

Hello,

Don't give you hope, take a look at this.

This was one of the few things I wanted but never got.

The trackir does look like it could be fun. However, with the oculus you get much more immersed into the game because there is no distractions around you. Nonetheless, I am curious how accurate you can look around with trackir without having to use a mouse.

Hello,

Poke around the TrackIR site, I think they had videos, or try Youtube.

I looked around the web apparently trackir did work for aa but only in vehicles... unfortunately aao25 doesn't have maps like snakeplain anymore.
