I admit that automatic rotation after certain amount of sets is awesome, Merlin did good job with it :up: But just saying that Merlin asked for feedback, Pipezor gave some and Vanoke is here saying immediately that he can play elsewhere if he doesn't like it... What is the point of feedback if only positive one is allowed to be given?

The best way to give feedback is the so called burger method. It basically consists of 3 things: Top of the bun, beef and the bottom of the bun. I personally reckon this means horrible - bad - horrible.  :D

yeah, sorry for changing the map.

i did set the possibility to mapvote on that server. but with a very hard restriction:
every player can - during the 2 matches on a map - mapvote only once. this means if you start to vote for a new map or even if you say "yes" to a running mapvote, you can NOT vote again until the server did change the map by automatic rotation.

one more thing to know: after a successful mapvoting, the server will switch back to its automatic map rotation ;) after playing this additional map.

Thanks, I might be interested in to check out how it works, due to get more ideas around the logic and why not use it at some point.

Yeah.. I would have just loved to finish the set on certain map I came to play and its best to know the next map also, not how ppl randomlyvote it, especially if certain maps are told beforehands :/

Allright there it is, needed settings with wanted maplist. I thought forcecycle with forceminutes means forced cycle after certain amount of minutes. That doesn't seem to be rocket science after all, now Im only wondering where you need forceminutes, is it that rotation will happen after 30mins of play - or after two sets?

Settings above described if someone wonders what those values stands for:
cyclematches=2
     Value is amount of sets, after which will cycling happen
enablecycling=1
     1 stands for boolean value true, to disable cycling you need to set false which is 0
forcecycle=1
     same here, 1 is boolean value for true, 0 would be false
forceminutes=30
     for what is this one needed then? 

Btw is there any command for restarting the set - or for ending current one and starting new? Is there any command for changing the map to next one in the maplist by using one and same command always, like "open next"? Or if you have a maplist can you change map with maplist related command like "open maplist 3"

PS. I might need to get those spam protection definitions in use.

Edit. Found admin RestartMap command which - like it says - restarts current map, that'll do it although teams will be reassigned. Command for next map would be still awesome :)

forcecycle and forceminutes are the values to set a server - with map rotation activated - to force the server to change to the next map (forcecycle) within the define time (forceminutes). but only if no one is playing on the server. i do use this to show the servers mapset for players (in the settings above, the server will change the map - when no player is on it - to the next map after 30 minutes).

with enablecycling=1, the map rotation for online players is activated. in the settings above, the server will rotate through this mapset:
map=AA3_Impact
map=Dusk
map=SFWaterTreatment
map=MP_Ice

it will not stop, it starts again and again. the time for running a map are set at:
roundlength=5
roundsmatch=7

cyclematches=2 will let the server play every map 2 times.

if you start with mapvoting enabled, then the rotation will be hold until the voted map has played its defined rounds and match counts. the the server continues with the next map of the maplist.
