We're almost done with our small issues, but we're far enough to release the invitation.

Note that eight fastest registrees will be taken in.

Teams that have already gathered up, send me the needed information about your squad via pm.

Players who has no team yet, write about it in this topic so you can find yourself team mates.

The difficult part is to bring them together. meaby you must make a team for them.
same language and a team name . make contact to the player that did say yes.
but solong the tournament is a succes its oke . start small but led it work so you can build on it.
its a startup next time if all works out meaby people join  1 =2   2 =4   4=8   8=32  grow.!

As fast as you know, you can sign another team in since you're having already seven players. But remember too that now we're having six teams signed so only two teamsare able to fit in anymore.

I have a question regarding the ghosting rule.

Ghosting is forbidden, an admin can listen to your teamspeak. Do you mean Vanoke's view of ghosting, like you're dead you shut up? ...

Can we get a list of the teamless players please? So that teams can choose from them too.

PS:

If there are alot of teamless players is it possible to create mixed teams in order to have more than 8 teams?

keep up the good work :)

We have no list since people have only answered to the poll and the fingerprint stays anonymous. We're kind of hoping that teamless players bring their interest in here in these threads so you can be contacted. If its too much, you guys who have no team yet, send pm here or in battletracker to dudu (http://aao25.com/forum/profile/?u=6003) / -iNc.!nfin!ty.1+) (http://battletracker.com/playerstats/aao/443266/-iNc.%21nfin%21ty.1%252B%29/)

And real soldiers can't spam enemies, so are we not allowed to spam on Mout, Tunnel, Blizzard?
Real soldiers don't hear through entire maps, so too good headset is not allowed on tournament?

I mean you can't do a tournament and then penalize communication ...

And BTW Infinity I've been asking for players since weeks, now is little too late ;) Hope you find a team

Fair enough, I was the first one who compared this into real life, but let's still try to remember that this is a game. Play the way you like but please don't ghost when you're dead, let the alive ones play themselves

Since this is the first event of its type by this far, or at least first that we're setting up, we need to keep the amount of teams quite small. We're planning to have this event monthly and after its maiden voyage we know better how to develop the event.

So there's going to be 1 admin on each ts channel every match to check if there's not a dead man who talks ? (No rage/negativism intended, just wondering) and who are the admins?

We'll be the admins and server admin can be there on ts to prevent that kind of ghosting if its needed. I still hope that we can play this through with fair play.

Who is "we" :D I guess you mean Seke? Who's gonna administrate Seke matches?
Anyway, like you said, I hope there's no need for that, but I'm so used to reporting enemies when I die I hope it won't come out unintentionally ... :)

We're having =PUF= clan doing this with us so we can use one of BCD servers on this use, but we still need to discuss about server admins etc. But either way were serveradmins who ever it'll be fair. Try to remember that we're making this event for you guys...

All good.

I'm just scared that it will be the same scenario as the previous FLC cup. People register a team because they can play NOW, but not anymore in 1 month. Let's hope this will work. Great effort anyway making things like this happen. KIsses kukkovittu

Actually Galle got a great idea, we'll force the fisrt person view for spectators. Then dead men can guide alive ones but they cant watch anyones back since they see the same that alive player sees.

its still posible if you realy want, when the dead guy will not klick further to a player thats alive.  if your dead on a nice spot than you can overview a aria. so total 100% is not possible. but to make first view is already better.:)

Lol we all have to be on the same teamspeak? I hope you mean different channels right? :D
I agree for the first person view though, but like Vanoke said, imagine you play pipeline assault, you run into main pump and die in the middle of it and keep the dead view so you can see the enemies ...

I have no problem to go on same channel for ts .( we have enemy spotted) .
Talking can give advantage over enemy spotted read my exemple.
And its not wrong to go on one channel, i am not afraid to hear other players emotions. :)

That wouldn't be called a match Vanoke, that's called Pubbing, like people do everyday. The idea here is to make a very little of competition .. For competition you'll need teamplay, and a lot more than an enemy spotted button :D

Lol 1st person view gay as fuck, u think that will prevent ghosting????

That's why I left ur server stupid gay 1st person view was on

Yous where all on same side who was going to ghost who???  Lol

And those that say all clans don't ghost your out of your mind,  everyone does it big deal, have to be stupid to stay in same spot after killing 1 clan member.....

Then again seen too many on different sides ghosting, it's expected o well only way they can find there cheap kills lol

Yea I know you left because of that which is kinda sad since its all about the time when you're dead. When you asked us to remove it I honestly had no idea who was requesting about it, for you I would have given a bit of an longer answer and would have told that it'll be removed soon.

We really were just testing it for to use in this event. And what comes to ghosting in this event, we want to cut it in the minimum and keep all the teams on same line with it.

ofcourse you can ghost with 3rd person view wickid.

Same channel during a scrim is definitely a no lol !

Nobody has said anything about same channel. This event wouldn't be called SCRIM if we would be in same ts channel and 1st person is no-brainer. In my mind advising after dead is happening in scrims all the time so maybe it should be allowed in this event also?

There is still room for one team, be fast or bite the dust

Yes definetly every team will use own channels, it's just much easier to administrate the event when all players can be contacted straight away via ts.

Yea it was a misunderstanding, but when first person view is activated we don't need to worry about ghosting anymore. If you ghost from death person view and do it using other language than english, how it can be prevented? I guess there's not much to do for it then. I hope we'll have fair event.

So even if ts channels doesn't need serveradmins anymore, we still want you to use certain channels for this.

I dislike allowing it since this is a competition, no one likes to be ghosted, and even if this is just a game - ghosting makes the game just more unrealistic. I would like to see real skills of players on this event, if ones team mates creates an all seeing eye above a player, he doesn't need that much skills to go trough the round.

Dead Men Tell No Tales

Quote from: Davy Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean
"Dead men tell no tales..."
"Ah, but they do tell tales. So says I, Davy Jones."
"Dead men tell no tales..."
"If ye be brave or fool enough to face a pirates curse, proceed."
"Dead men tell no tales..."
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Aye, tales there be a plenty in this cursed place..."
―Davy Jones talking while a ghostly voice repeatedly says "Dead men tell no tales..."

"When next you sail, we'll meet again...Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! So it seems dead men do tell tales, don't they? Ha! Ha! Ha! We will meet again, when next you sail...so says I, Davy Jones. You may not survive to pass this way again...Ha! Ha! Ha! When next you sail, you'll sail with Davy Jones...and none shall escape. Ha! Ha! The sea awaits your return, and so does Davy Jones. Ha! Ha! When next you sail, Davy Jones awaits. Ha! Ha!"
―Davy Jones
