Just wanted to post this, since some admins do not understand what teases newer players away.
A good example is the "roof bug", which only happens if the person in question is on the bugged table itself, otherwise I have always been able to shoot and kill them, indeed they disappear, but you can still shoot them.
New players prone on usual spots, does not mean they intend to bug and if you tell them stop bugusing they don't even know what they do wrong. How can they possibly know it is a bug when they are newer.

Imagine if you are a new player, you have no idea what's going on and suddenly people just start talking to you like that, I do not think this is a good way to act, and just want to use this as an eye opener. Some people don't know about the roof bug, they don't know what they did wrong, be nice to newer players and some might even stay.
This kind of talking will help nobody. Maybe we should add a railing to the roof to stop the roofbug right? Oh wait. Well then don't complain about the roofbug.

Nice practis lesson. A ban you must discus whit more clan members .a kick you can juse when the language is on critical point. I have seen 10 honor guys that schoot there own people a cupple of times but they diddent react on our writing in game . Adders shout kick him .the hard part is after 4 times i had to do it the guy came back and slowly he understand that he must hit the in black close players. On sum maps i have to sumtimes problems oasis for exemple. On long distans.so don t be so hard aganst new starters. Nice topic bart!

Adding a rail, eh? lol, I'm still getting used to the fact that we can pretty much do whatever we wanna do to the game to ameliorate things like this. It's kinda amazing. It's way too bad that AA2 isn't more active. I cannot wait for us to get this revival campaign underway. #pumped

bart u know how tiring this is hearing this stupid fuckn roof bug from every stupid ass player that is clueless about this bug
gets fucking annoying hearing dummies crying about it all the time when they die and dummie admins that listen to dummie players, specially when I'm sniper and i kill 1 lower perch by there sniper perch laying down under truck or by escort boxes, like they expect to see higher ground from lower position, bunch of dummies
far as m16 i can't speak for him but it's a ongoing, i don't agree with him always stating about the stupid roof bug either, gets annoying hearing it all the time
some players just don't get it period
i remember always getting booted from atas and ht server for this stupid roof, now atas is a GONER, ht is more relaxed now a days about the stupid bug
also bart people that do know about the bugs do indeed use it to there advantage seen that way too many times
by adding rails won't solve nothing only giving escort more advantage but hey do as u guys please

I used to ignore MI6 that's why back in the days I never wanted him to join IGC again, ts usually is flooded when he is on and speak about roof bug, nothing can be done about it and some people really don't learn a lesson about this roof bug.

I think you just can enforce people not to do it, simply because it is done per accident by newer players as well. Where do you hold the line? isn't it obvious you should be proning at that position? The only solution I can give is by editing the map, but that was a no-go as well at the time it happened.
This is why I wanted to start this discussion? How do you truely think about the roofbug? Should we edit something in the map? if so, what? SInce the roofbug is inherent to how the game works, it can't be easily fixed. OR do you just want to let it go, since you can still shoot them anyways even though they are invisible.

Delete the map, let them play real aao maps like Radio Tower istead of spamming 23953297564927th time west wing.

i say leave it alone, let the crybabies cry, we all know who the crybabies are about roof bug
and ur right bout table too, blind fire that spot gets em everytime
